In February this year I went ski-ing for the first time in 5 years (since getting married and having kids).
For moral support I persuaded a few friends to lash out huge amounts of cash and come along.
This "team" consisted of Alex Breed (aka billy no-mates), Ashley Casey, Mark Williams, Mark Vaughan (aka tigger) and myself.
What follows is a selection of the many, many photo's taken that week.
You will quickly notice that I am absent from most of these photos, as I was behind the camera.
However, Ashley kindly sent me one with me in it to include...

Well there was bound to be a delay at the airport, so naturally we started on the beers.

This is the team - from left to right we have Alex, Ash, Mark W and "Tigger".

The team in Team shirts, doing what the team do best.

Our bar, directly below our room, within crawling distance, all be it "uphill"...

The team hit the slops, yes we did manage to get some ski-ing in.

"Billy no-mates" in full regalia, no wonder he skied on his own all week.

For any body who plays Saturnalia in Mark Williams' area-
Could this be the secret of Sir Weapon's Success?

Mark using the classic "how does this work again?" stance.

Sitting down is easy, it's getting back up again that's the problem.

Ash using another classic stance, known as "Turn damn you, TURN!" stance.

And low and behold, it worked...

OOPS, spoke to soon. This position become known as a "double Casey".

And tigger shoes us all how it's done. Backwards...

"What do ya mean bend the knees, this works much better."

"Gee, that was a long drop from the chair."

"Did I get air? Did I?"

This could have been a classic team photo, but billy just had to poke tigger in the eye. What is it with that pointing thing Alex?
"Tig" pretending not to be hung over, for the benefit of the girls"

Me doing what i do best - eating Owl shit...(thanks for the photo Ash)

Dr Williams has to go incognito to avoid the hordes of autograph hunters, it's tough being a world famous "hard-ass" Saturnalia G.M.
Is it a bird? is it a plane? No! it's mark flying through the air with grace and style...

Of course, staying upright when you land is a different skill entirely!

Billy no-mates won't do anything if it's not a challenge, but eating dinner with one foot behind his head seemed a bit much to the rest of us, especially as he had been skiing all day in those socks!
(sorry alex, I just couldn't resist putting this one in... :)
Well, that's just a little taste of the fun we had. If you've never been skiing, try it if you get the chance, it can be a lot of fun. I'm sure the rest of the team would agree with me.
